The National Communications Authority (NCA) has granted frequency authorizations to 805 FM broadcasting stations in Ghana. As of the fourth quarter of 2024, 549 of these stations are operational. Among them, approximately 50 to 100 stations broadcast live over the internet, delivering programs from cities such as Accra, Cape Coast, Kumasi, Sekondi-Takoradi, Tamale, and Bolga, as well as the Brong-Ahafo, Volta, and Eastern regions.
